Taylor started experimenting with transparent colors on their guitars in the early 80s and were soon were asked to build a very special 12-string guitar for Prince. This in turn created interest from other artists. This version of the 610 features an eye catching transparent red finish on a Dreadnought body of solid spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. The maple neck has a comfortable neck profile. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, and gold Grover tuners add to the look. Original brown hard shell case.
