Digital Accessibility Statement

Our Policy Commitment

At Elderly Instruments we are committed to accessibility, diversity and inclusion. As part of that commitment, we are making efforts to ensure that Elderly Instruments customers have an accessible user experience including persons with disabilities. In doing so, Elderly Instruments has a goal to comply with applicable accessibility regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Digital Accessibility Statement

Our target accessibility standard is the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and Level AA. As we work toward meeting these standards, we have dedicated resources to our digital accessibility compliance effort, which includes coordination, as well as designing, developing and testing Elderly Instruments websites and online services for conformance to WCAG 2.1 standards. We also collaborate with advocacy groups, industry partners and vendors to identify areas that need improvement.

Accessibility Features of Elderly Instruments
Some example accessibility features of our websites and online services include:

Structural Markup: We use appropriate semantic elements and techniques – such as headings, lists, paragraphs, and WAI-ARIA markup – to help make sure that assistive technologies can convey appropriate information to persons with disabilities.

Text Equivalents: We are working to make sure that images and media on our websites are accessible through alternative text equivalents.

Keyboard Access: We are making efforts to help make sure that keyboard-only users can navigate and use Elderly Instruments websites and online services.
