Straight Up Strings is an exciting development in mandola string technology that features compensated download pressures for the outer string courses that rest on the saddle near the bridge's posts, as well as the inner string courses that rest near the middle of the saddle on conventional two-post adjustable bridges. Compensated lateral loading provides excellent string-to-string balance, clarity, and sustain. The plain strings are nickel-steel wire, and wound strings feature a phosphor bronze wrap wire. Straight Up Strings are the ideal solution for a powerful and balanced-sounding mandola.

Gauges are: 015˝  .0225˝  .034˝ . 053˝ Compensated down pressures (pounds)*: A 5.5   D 4.0   G 4.0   C 7.0 - Total down pressure: 45 pounds - Total linear tension: 180.4 pounds

*Down pressures for mandola are calculated at a 15° string-break angle over the bridge.
