Skyrie plays energetic traditional dance music from Scotland and Ireland, and beautiful harmonic compositions of their own, masterfully looping and layering instruments to sound much bigger than the trio they are! Skyrie has performed and recorded over many years with multi award-winning artists as diverse as renowned Scottish singer songwriter Dougie MacLean, Shirley Manson of Garbage, Big Country and Kathy Mattea. They have performed at diverse events such as at the world-renowned Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow, and the Dundee New Year Hooley, and in such diverse places as Budapest, Cyprus, and the British Embassy in Kuwait.
