- Wood star added to the peghead (old section sliced out and this star added with new wood)
- A few mis-matched brackets and nuts (20 total brackets)
- German silver spun metal rim over thin wood
- ~11-1/4" skin head (dirty and stained)
- One piece cherry? neck
- 20-fret ebony fingerboard
- Pearl diamond shaped inlay on 10th fret, dots elsewhere
- Pearl side dots are original
- Dowel stick stamped “S.S. STEWART", "PHILAD’A” and “U.S.A.”
- ~27-1/8" scale, 1-5/16" nut
- Later Champion mechanical friction pegs with black buttons
- Later replacement friction 5th string peg
- Period No Knot tailpiece stamped “PAT. NOV. 19 / 1901” and "NO KNOT" (is on top edge)
- Built in historic Philadelphia, U.S.A.
