Pisgah makes a couple versions of the Possum and this is their short scale (25-1/2") length 5-string openback with the 12" rim. American tone woods are used for most everything on this banjo from the three-ply cherry rim and neck, to the persimmon tone ring. The cherry neck has a persimmon headstock overlay with a wooden quilted star inlay. And the persimmon fingerboard has a straight frailing scoop. Equipped with aged brass hardware. Comes with a Pisgah padded gigbag. Made in USA.
