A great instrument for old time playing, this OME Minstrel Custom openback banjo has a mahogany neck with scroll peghead. The ebony fingerboard has an S-shaped scoop with a 4-pointed star inlay. It features aged brass hardware and aged nickel planetary gears with amber-color buttons. This impressive banjo was built in OME's small 3-craftsperson shop using sustainably harvested woods.  Custom feature is a 2-ply cherry rim (standard rim is maple) stained to match the neck.
