An extremely rare model, this pre-war National Tricone features the distinctive "Exploding Palm Tree" pattern sandblasted on a nickel plated brass body with lattice grill soundholes and triangular screened coverplate. A bound ebony fingerboard sits on a modified roundneck mahogany neck finished in metallic green. It has a T-bar bridge and three 6" aluminum cones. Appointed with pearl dot inlays. Huge resonator tone! Period hard shell case. Made in USA.
