Part of Martin's 2018 re-imagined Standard Series, the HD28 has been given vintage-inspired touches like open gear tuners, antique white binding. Other updated features include forward shifted X bracing and a Modified Low Oval neck shape. It still offers the classic combination of Sitka spruce and East Indian rosewood, and a Sunburst finish (1935 style) all wrapped in Martin's signature herringbone purfling, and the dreadnought body size kicks out powerful lows and rich tone.
