Experience the Elderly Difference

One of 12 built in 1962 and part of only 238 of this model that were produced between 1959 and 1964. The D-18E and D-28E were Martin's first attempt at making a factory built Acoustic-Electric guitar in 1959. It failed to catch on with the "major artists" in it's day, but it is super collectable now! Built on the standard D-28 platform but with transverse top bracing to accommodate the factory-installed DeArmond pickups, gold Grover Rotomatic tuners, and 1/4" output jack. Bound Sitka spruce top with purfling, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, 28-Style back strip, 14-fret mahogany neck with a 1-11/16" nut. Natural gloss nitrocellulose finish. Original Lifton arched-top hardshell case. Made in USA. On consignment.
