• Martin D-18 Authentic 1937 features an Adirondack spruce top with VTS (Martin's trademarked torrefied top wood & braces), on a genuine mahogany body.  It is constructed with hide glue for optimum tone transfer, and has Martin's light Vintage Gloss finish.  The body shape is true to the original dreadnoughts of Martin's early Golden Era (slightly different than a modern dreadnought).  Appointments are period-correct including the neck shape.
