Experience the Elderly Difference

The year 1937 brought us the Hindenburg disaster, JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit, and FDR's second term... also this prewar Martin D-18. The body has an Adirondack spruce top, with mahogany back and sides. And the 14-fret mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. Features include a tortoise plastic pickguard and ebony binding, w-b-w-b top purfling, and a Brazilian rosewood peghead overlay. It has replacement nickel Grover open-gear tuners with butterbean buttons. Comes with a rough vintage soft shell case. Nice sounding and good player! On consignment.

Condition Notes: Total guitar over-sprayed, missing headstock logo, one repaired top crack, repaired back crunch. Repro bridge, neck reset, re-fretted, bridge plate mate, by our shop a few years ago.
