The beautiful voice and elegant ukulele playing of beloved Hawaiian musician Israel "Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole  helped spark a renaissance in traditional Hawaiian music. Tragically, he died in 1997 at just 38. This tenor ukulele honors his memory with a special peghead design and other fine appointments. The inside label is individually signed by his widow, Marlene, and numbered in sequence without total.
