What sets the new 000-17 apart are enhancements like a traditional compound dovetail neck joint and Sitka spruce Golden Era (GE) top bracing, inspired by the Modern Deluxe Series, for a vintage, breathy tone. Playability upgrades include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, offering a more ergonomic playing experience. 

The satin-finished select hardwood neck, with its shorter scale length, ebony fingerboard, and vintage-inspired GE modified low oval profile, provides effortless playability. Additional details like a sleeker heel and an ebony bridge with smoother, comfortable corners complete this guitar's timeless design and exceptional feel.
