Classic openback A-scale banjo with great potential. This Lyon & Healy 'College Line' has a spun-over rim on a dark painted wood core. It has a Dobson-style heel on the maple neck with a thin pearwood fretboard that has pearl dot inlays. The tailpiece is period as well as most of the 24 brackets L-shoes and nuts. Other hardware is a mix of non-original replacement parts, it is equipped with a newer armrest. Includes a recent hardshell case. Made in USA. AS-IS.
