- 30 brackets with L shoes (27 currently, three are missing)
- Remo renaissance head
- Grooved tension hoop
- Mahogany neck and dowel stick
- Pearwood heel cap with pearl floral inlay
- 18-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy floral pearl inlays
- Wire armrest
- Pearwood peghead overlay and backstrap
- No Knot tailpiece (brass finish)
- Champion tuners with black buttons stamped "PAT. MAY 8, '88"
- Dowel stick stamped "PAT. A,PLD / FOR", "4993" , "GATCOMB STANDARD" and "50"
- Also stamped "L.B. GATCOMB CO. / OWNERS & MANUFACTURERS / BOSTON, MASS."
