Stephen Gilchrist has been building some of the finest Lloyd Loar-inspired mandolins in the world from his workshop in Australia for decades, and this F-5 style instrument is a prime example of his work. The two-point F body features a carved top and one-piece carved back finished in a rich Cremona sunburst, with full ivoroid binding and pearl and abalone inlays throughout. EVO gold frets on a radiused fretboard, silverplated hardware. Plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks. Comes with a Calton hardshell case. Made in Australia. On consignment.
