This late 1920s TB-3 tenor banjo has Mastertone Series appointments like an archtop tone ring, two-piece tube-and-plate flange. The mahogany 4-string neck and the maple double bound resonator have a dark glossy finish with areas of wear and checking. The 3/4" maple rim shows some finish wear. The bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard features pearl Style 3 inlays. The fiddle-cut peghead has the script "Gibson" logo above diamonds and curlicue pearl inlays. Grover tuners. Period Gibson pickguard installed. Original hardshell case. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. On consignment.
