Gibson was going strong in 1977 with plants in Kalamazoo and Nashville. Lots of music was happening all over the U.S.A. from Rock to Pop to Disco to Country to Bluegrass. Since the large flood in Nashville in 2010 they haven't built banjos. This banjo has been well cared for and loved over the years. It has been professionally re-fretted along the way. Includes original hard shell case (blue lining).
