The J-45™ is the best-selling Gibson acoustic guitar model of all time. Nicknamed "The Workhorse" and first introduced in 1942, this iconic acoustic has become the cornerstone of its round-shoulder, dreadnought line. The Gibson J-45 Standard has been refined to carry this legacy. With a round-shoulder body and sides that are made from solid mahogany and its solid Sitka spruce top; it's a classic tonewood recipe that is ideal for all musical styles. The mahogany neck has a comfortable and fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile and is topped with a rosewood fretboard adorned with simple mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The traditional rosewood belly-up bridge is outfitted with a TUSQ® saddle and bridge pins. Other features include a TUSQ nut, along with the quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners. The J-45 Standard is equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup and includes a hardshell case.
