  • Double cutaway maple semi-hollow body, with solid maple center block
  • Mahogany neck, "C" profile
  • Cream-bound body
  • 22-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard (missing treble side binding from neck wear)
  • Pro Re-fret and new bone nut by our shop
  • Pearloid dot inlays (15th fret marker replaced by our shop)
  • 1-11/16" nut, 24-3/4" scale
  • Headstock features pearl "Gibson" logo and crown inlay
  • Headstock has been repaired by Low E tuner down to nut (with overspray)
  • 4-ply B-w-b-w beveled edge pickguard (some curl)
  • Dual humbucking PAF pickups (all black bobbins with replacement chrome covers)
  • 3-way switch and dual tone and volume controls  (knobs changed to skirted amp style)
  • Pots are dated 40th week of 1961
  • 1/4" jack (mounted through home-made metal plate screwed to top)
  • Newer chrome ABR-1 T-O-M style bridge
  • Wrap-over style stop bar tailpiece
  • Replacement vintage Kluson Deluxe tuners with replacement Keystone buttons (by our shop)

One of Gibson's most iconic models, this 1962 ES-335 sits right at the transition point between the early dot-neck era and the block-inlay years. Cherry finish on a double-bound maple laminate body with solid maple centerblock, mahogany neck, and bound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Dual humbucking PAF pickups, newer no-wire ABR-1 bridge, and later Kluson Deluxe tuners with replacement Keystone buttons. Made in Kalamazoo, MI. Original black hardshell case.

Condition Notes: Output jack mounted through plate, newer chrome PU covers, missing treble-side neck binding, headstock broken and repaired at bass-side tuners, overspray on neck/headstock, gaps at heel. Refret, new nut, electronics repaired, setup, etc done by our shop.
