This mandolin features silver plated hardware and flower pot inlay in headstock, "Bill Monroe" engraved pearl truss rod cover, ebony fingerboad with pearl dot inlays. One interior label is signed by Bill Monroe and reads "THE GIBSON "MONROE" MODEL". The other label is signed by Steve Carlson and dated August 19, 1991. The perfect mandolin to play "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and all your Bluegrass favorites. With replica 1920s-style oblong hardshell case.
