A Fender Tex Mex Special Telecaster, in candy apple red finish. Originally sold with a humbucking pickup and 5-way switch, this model has been modified and swapped to SS configuration. Made from a solid alder body, with bolt-on maple neck. Equipped with dual single-coil pickups, 3-way switch, and vintage split-post tuning machines. This later '90s version of the Tex Mex Special comes with a six-saddle adjustable barrel bridge, replacing the traditional 3-saddle bridge first offered on the Tex Mex Special. Gator gigbag included. Made in Mexico.
