  • Solid spruce top (not carved) with f-holes
  • X-braced top
  • One small repaired top crack on treble side f-hole
  • Sunburst finish on top and back
  • Mahogany sides and arched back
  • 14-fret mahogany neck
  • NO truss rod
  • Large C-shaped neck profile
  • 19-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
  • Large pearl dot inlays, 3 dots on 12th fret
  • Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay
  • No headstock logo
  • Grover tuners with butterbean buttons
  • Another set of tuners were installed previously
  • Period trapeze tailpiece, had another tailpiece prior
  • Large period "Firestripe" tortoise plastic pickguard
  • Brazilian rosewood bridge
  • White-bound body and fretboard
  • B-w top purfling

These Gibson built guitars were initially marketed as the Fascinator brand for a year or two by Tonk Bros. of Chicago. Shortly after they were re-branded as Cromwell and sold through Continental Music of Chicago and several other retailers. 16" archtop body (similar to L-50). Sunburst finish on top and back. X-braced spruce top. Mahogany back and sides. 14-fret mahogany neck. Built by Gibson. With period hard shell case (green lining).
