Way back in the '40's, steel guitars were often mounted on a wooden stand or desk that, over the years, went by the wayside. Here we have an Electar Zephyr inside what's left of the stand, now functioning as a case. This is the rare 8-string version, with rectangle body, and a rewound single-coil pickup by our shop that has a hot and full-bodied sound. Hollow, tortoise plastic bound maple body with rear vents. 28 fret markers. Metal nut, bridge. C6 tuning. Original maple case/stand. Made in USA. Consignment.
