    Another fine mandolin from the Tom Elllis workshop nestled in the heart of Texas. This F-5 Special mandolin is handmade from a carved spruce top, with deeply figured maples sides, neck, and one-piece back. It is fitted with an adjustable ebony bridge and fingerboard, inlaid with graduated pearl dots. The peghead is adorned with an intricate "Torch and Vine" inlay, reminiscent of classic mandolins from the 1920s. Equipped with a James engaved tailpiece and open-gear 4-on-a-plate tuners. This Ellis is ready for the road or studio with original hardshell case included. Made in USA.  On consignment.
