It doesnt get more fun than this. If you're comfortable playing alternating bass these arrangements will expand your technique. Starts with the popular children's game "Green, Green Rocky Road" in dropped D tuning, loosely based on Dave Van Ronk's arrangement. There are two songs in the key of C: "Little Boy, Little Boy Who Made Your Britches" has direct lineage in Piedmont children's rhymes, and "There's a Table Sitting in Heaven" is a beautiful melodic gospel tune. The lesson closes with two humorous tunes: "Show Me The Way To Go Home" was sung in the film "Jaws" as the shark was closing in, and the 1907 instrumental "The Teddy Bears' Picnic," a well-loved tune known throughout the world. Each tune is taught phrase by phrase and played slowly on a split-screen. Note/tab included as a PDF file on the disc. The Bonus Audio section includes source recordings. 105 min.
