• Front of Collings MF-5 Varnish Mandolin

    A timeless F-5 from the Collings workshop. It doesn't get much better than this! Built from a carved spruce top, with flamed maple sides, back, and neck. Fitted with an ebony fingerboard and adjustable bridge, inlaid with pearl dots. Appointed with aged white binding with black and white purfling. The "traditional" fern (vine) inlay adorns the peghead. Equipped with gold Waverly 4-on-a-plate tuning machines. Brown Calton case included. Made in USA. On consignment.
