This handmade reproduction traditional banjo from Bob Thornburg has the grain measure style tack-head pot with a single piece fretless neck. The pot is constructed of an antique grain measure that is bent oak wood for the rim and ~14-1/4" tacked hide head and has a leather band over the tack line. The neck and dowel stick are made of walnut with matching tailpiece, the scroll type headstock has friction tuners and an ebony nut. Simple maple bridge. Oversized modern case included. Made in USA.
