- Headstock overlays features pearl "B&D" / Silver / Bell" and floral inlays
- Ivoroid-bound 17-fret ebony fingerboard with fancy pearl inlays
- Grover "PAT. PEND." friction tuners with ivoroid buttons
- 11" Fiberskyn head (wrong crown height)
- Notched tension hoop, 24 brackets and shoes
- Period "GROVER PATENT" Presto tailpiece
- Silver Bell tone ring with multiple raised holes
- Dowel stick reads "MADE BY / THE BACON BANJO CO. INC. / GROTON, CONN. U.S.A."
- Vega-style armrest installed 1-5/32" nut, ~22-1/8" scale
- Instrument has been re-fretted and has had a dowel stick reset in the past
- Some over spray on dowel stick and resonator
- Interior label of resonator reads "BACON BANJO CO., Inc." / "Banjos and Mandolins of Quality" / GROTON, CONNECTICUT" and is stamped "PAT PEND"
