    The Essential 000 is focused to the core elements of a pre-war guitar, the Essential-series delivers vintage looks and tone. It features pre-war scalloped bracing on a baked Sitka spruce top, with mahogany back and sides. A 14-fret mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, with a wider 1-3/4" nut for added comfort. Atkin's finish process uses eight coats of yellow-tinted nitrocellulose lacquer, for a thin gloss finish. And with their "Heavy Aging" option, the guitar is frozen to produce lacquer cracks, sinking, and blemishes consistent with an old instrument. Vintage style open gear Gothoh tuners in aged nickel. Hardshell case. Made in the UK. On consignment.
