From the heyday of American manufacturing, this early '70s Gibson J-50 is built with an X-braced spruce top, with mahogany back, sides, and neck. It's equipped with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, original closed-gear tuners with keystone buttons and a tortoise plastic pickguard. Has the famous double X-bracing. Appointments include tortoise plastic binding, and pearl dot fingerboard inlay. Original hard shell case included. A great project guitar, and with a lovely tone. Made in Kalamazoo, MI.
