- Budget guitar gets premium sound
- I was not happy with the "nasal" sound of my Harley Benton steel resonator guitar. It sounded flat and lifeless. I installed the "hot rod" cone and the thing came alive. I was hoping for a more cutting sound, which I got, but was amazed at all the harmonics which I had not expected. The guitar still has the drawbacks of a cheap imitation guitar ( playability and finish), but the sound of the real deal. Since I play mostly slide on it, I am delighted!
