• Front and side of Gibson RB-175 Extra Long Neck Banjo (1966)
    The RB-175 was designed to capitalize on the Folk Boom. With a capo at the 3rd fret the banjo is standard-tuned, but played open it's tuned a minor third lower to open E. Features include multi-ply maple rim, brass hoop tone ring, mahogany neck and a 25-fret Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Two-legged Gibson armrest installed. Earlier Gibson hard shell case. Made in USA. (needs strings, reglue inside ply on rim, etc. - sold AS-IS)
