Martin F-9 (1936)

The F-9 was Martin's top-of-the-line archtop and the most expensive guitar that they made in the 1930s -- even more than a D-45! This 1936 model features a sunburst carved spruce top, gorgeous Brazilian rosewood sides and back, and a 14-fret mahogany neck. Other features include a nice hinged tailpiece, 45-style backstrip, gold hardware, and Grover tuners with fancy engraved “M” designs on butterbean buttons. Only 72 of this model were made. There is some finish wear on the top, sides, and back of neck, but overall it’s in very good/excellent condition. More details...
