This documentary takes an in-depth look at what makes Uncle Dave Macon Days the remarkable annual old time music and dance event that draws over 50,000 visitors every July to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Filled with vintage photos, event footage, dozens of interviews and lots of music & dance. Traces the festival's early history when a local pharmacist began "Banjo Pickin' Days" to celebrate local musicians and attract business. The heart of the event continues to be the on-stage and shade tree musicians, and dancers. Approx. 2 hours.
