Worth the price.
Quality body, neck, etc. All the main parts are there. The stock tuning machines are okay, but not fantastic. I decided to upgrade them with the same Fender machines used on their American models. Tone and pickups are all personal preference. I find all the stock electronics acceptable. With the right amp and controls you can dial in all sorts of tones, just as with any strat style guitar. Setup from Elderly was very good. Nice low action, with properly set intonation and properly adjusted fret slots. Level frets with no buzzes.
The finish is very pretty and very well done. I can't find any flaws with it at all.
For those of you who like more high end extras such as tuning machines, pickups/electronics, etc. this would be a really great platform to begin with since all the main parts are quality.
I should say I'm not an expert on trems...so my comments have zero to do with that. I never use them, and generally just block them. So I can't say how well that part of the instrument works.
In my opinion, it is worth the $199 I paid for it.
