    A prime candidate for a 5-string conversion, this Vega Whyte Laydie Style S Tenor Banjo was built in Boston way back in the jazz era, and retains its original classic features including a Whyte Laydie tone ring, 2-piece maple neck, ebony fingerboard, pearl dots and stars inlay, Slingerland skin head, 1/2” maple rim with tortoise plastic binding . This banjo needs a bit of work to restore it to its former glory (needs reglue binding, fretwork, clean/adjust tuners, strings, set-up, etc. - sold AS-IS). Original case included. This instrument is in very good to excellent condition.
