  • ~9/16" maple rim
  • White-bound pie-section resonator (some finish coming off inside and heavy crazing on back)
  • A hole with metal insert has been drilled through dowel stick to mount resonator
  • Wood marquetry with diamond shapes on edge of resonator 
  • Replacement ebony fingerboard (abalone purfling, engraved inlay on 7th fret), 19 frets
  • Headstock overlay features pearl floral inlay with "VEGA" engraved
  • Headstock underlay features fancy engraved inlay with "VEGA" logo
  • New tuners with black buttons
  • 10-15/16" Vegalon frosted bottom head
  • Tubaphone tone ring
  • 28 brackets, bracket band, (4 replaced nuts, nuts are nickel plated)
  • Notched tension hoop, Vega armrest, Oettinger style tailpiece
  • Richelieu pick holder installed
  • 4-piece flat plate flange with triangular holes
  • Dowel stick reads "VEGAPHONE" and "ARTIST"
  • 1-3/16" nut, ~22-7/8" scale

This banjo is in really nice condition. 10-15/16" head. Carved heel, tubaphone tone ring and gold hardware. Some work has been done over the years. New fingerboard, newer flanges and tuning machines. Refinished long ago. With newer HSC (red lining). VGC+. On consignment.
