A cool tenor banjo from the 1920s, this Slingerland May Bell model has a 11/16" maple rim with a mahogany cap and a metal tone ring. The two-piece birdseye maple neck has a dark center strip. It has a 17-fret ebonized pearwood fingerboard with fancy pearl inlays Other features include grooved tension hoop, wood marquetry around the outside of the rim, and mechanical friction tuners with ivoroid buttons. This instrument could use some work (sold AS-IS, see Details section below), but overall it’s in very good-excellent condition.   More Details...
