Recording King RO-T16 "000"- Torrefied Top

sku: ROT16
Torrefaction is a specialized heating process used on Recording King Adirondack (Red) spruce tops in which the wood is heated at a low temperature in an oxygen-free environment. The curing process produces a similar chemical transformation as wood that has been dried for decades. The end result is a lightweight, extra resonant top that produces tone similar to a vintage instrument. These solid torrefied Adirondack spruce tops provide the foundation for Recording King's Torrefied Series 000. The tone of the torrefied top is impressive, and when paired with the mahogany back and sides, it results in guitars with extra punch, projection and warm.   More Details...
