A rare, top-of-the-line Orpheum 5-stringer, this No. 3 Special has a two-piece white holly neck and fancy carved heel, and headstock overlay with pearl floral inlays reading "ORPHEUM / No 3 / SPECIAL", and large fleur-de-lis inlay on the back of the headstock. The headstock also features a 3-layer overlay and underlay which matches the neck center strip, under fingerboard and heel. This instrument has a 22-fret pearwood fingerboard with abalone floral inlays. A period hardshell case is included. This instrument is in excellent-minus condition.
