Made in France, late 19th century, appears to be by one of the Caussin family or similar, two piece back of medium curl ascending from the centerline, antiqued amber varnish, new ebony fittings with a Wittner tailpiece, Evah Pirazzi strings, recent top and back regraduation with a new bass bar by Ed McCoppin so it has a nice deep rich and fairly powerful tone, VGC except for a couple of very small repaired saddle cracks on the top, with a decent oblong hardshell case, on consignment
