Kalamazoo Violin (1939)
Super rare violin made in 1939, made by Gibson and bearing its original Kalamazoo label with the serial number/date of 39-7, one piece back of highly flamed slab cut maple, shaded amber varnish, original Gibson pegs, endpin and tailpiece, the original bridge (stamped Gibson) and sound post are included in the case, there is a number 3 stamped on the back of the pegbox and the original sound post also has No#3 written on it in pencil, set up with Helicore strings and has a somewhat deep mellow fiddle type tone, EC-, with old shaped case
