    Jack Hatfield redesigned the famous Gerald Jones Acoustic Plus banjo pickup, long known to produce a very natural amplified sound. Magnetic coil/inductor strip design mounts on coordinator rods with a thumbscrew. The 3.5mm jack mounts easily in flange hole. No drilling, soldering or screws required; installs in 2 minutes.

  • More powerful signal than the original - 10% more windings and stronger magnet
  • Shielded coil-to-jack cable routed out the back of the pickup so it clears coordinator rods
  • Plastic, non-conducting enclosure replaces metal - cuts interference with the electromagnetic field
  • Spacer on mounting bracket to accurately center pickup under head
  • Enclosed, smaller jack replaces original 1/4" jack - avoids shorts and is more compatible with resonator
  • Insulating plastic jack mounting bracket eliminates annoying ground hum
  • Bracket design now installs on Stelling banjos
  • Includes both a 24" cable to connect to belt-mounted preamp (sold separately) and a 6' cable to run to amp or PA
