Gibson F-3 (1905)

sku: 90U-202651
This Gibson F-3 is an early factory mandolin with professional restoration work done in the 60's (we think at Gibson in Kalamazoo). It has a 3-point body with a bound spruce top, birch back and sides, and a 2-piece mahogany neck. The entire instrument has been refinished — black finish on the top, dark natural finish on the back, sides, and neck. It has a newer ebony fretboard with fancy inlays. Other distinctive features include an elaborate inlaid pickguard, snazzy black-white top trim and soundhole rosette, and 4-on-a-plate tuners with Handel tuner buttons. This instrument is in excellent condition.   More Details...
