Made in Kalamazoo, Mi., rare model G-42, dated 6-41, Made by Gibson during the WWII era,  15 1/2" body length,  two piece back of highly flamed Michigan maple, shaded amber-brown varnish, probably original Gibson tailpiece and chinrest, new ebony pegs, peg holes bushed, recent neck set so very nice bridge height, set up with Helicore strings, really decent sounding for a smaller viola, VGC+, with probably original Lifton shaped HSC, (slightly rough, top bow clip missing)
