A lovely mandolin from the early 20th century, this Gibson F-4 has a sunburst finish carved spruce top with an oval soundhole. The back and sides are maple, and the neck is mahogany. Fine appointments include a rope/ivoroid/rope soundhole rosette, an adjustable bridge, a tortoise plastic pickguard, and 4-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons.
