A nice looking mandolin from the early 20th century, this Gibson F-2 features a carved spruce top with a black finish, ivoroid binding, and an oval soundhole. It also has brich back and sides, and a 2-piece mahogany neck with a dark center strip. Appointments include a tortoise plastic pickguard, ivoroid binding on the soundhole and fretboard, and 4-on-a-plate open-gear tuners with Handel inlaid buttons. This instrument is in very good+ condition.
