Ed McCoppin (2015)
Handmade in Michigan by our own Ed McCoppin, this violin is a Guarneri model with a one-piece slab cut back of old (1920-30's) Michigan maple showing moderate irregular curl. The ribs and neck are quartersawn Michigan maple. Other features include a European top, ebony fittings with a Wittner tailpiece, 355mm body length, and Dominant strings. It has a great, strong, rich voice with good balance. It’s in excellent condition except for a couple of little dings. Ed's #52. Oblong double Everest case included. Consignment.
